Purpose of the Role
The Clinic Nurse will manage and operate a pharmacy-based clinic, providing comprehensive healthcare services such as vaccinations, chronic care management, screenings, and patient consultations, in collaboration with the pharmacist to ensure quality patient care and clinical compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care

Provide vaccinations (including baby immunizations).

Conduct Pap smears and other health screenings.

Develop and maintain chronic care systems for patients.

Perform comprehensive health assessments and make preliminary diagnoses.

Prescribe medications or treatments in collaboration with the pharmacist.

Offer clinical recommendations and support treatment planning.

Use Allegra Software for patient management and reporting.
Administrative & Reporting Duties

Keep a daily register of all clinic patients and submit it to Head Office monthly.

Maintain accurate patient and clinic records.

Ensure payments are collected for services rendered.

Manage clinic stock, consumables, and equipment.

Keep the clinic clean, safe, and fully operational.

Participate in campaigns and health awareness events.
Collaboration & Support

Work closely with the responsible pharmacist to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Utilize the Virtual Doctor platform when patients need a medical practitioner.

Perform additional duties as required to support the pharmacy’s operations, profitability, and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience

Qualified Clinic Nurse (must be registered and licensed to practice in South Africa).

Experience with Allegra Software is advantageous.

Prior experience in a pharmacy clinic or primary healthcare setting preferred.

Must be comfortable providing vaccinations and women’s health services (Pap smears, chronic care, etc.).

Working Hours
