Tender Overview
The Department of Health Free State invites suitably qualified contractors to tender for minor repairs and maintenance at the mortuary and doctors’ accommodation at JD Newberry District Hospital in the Thabo Mofutsanyana District.
The appointed contractor will be responsible for carrying out the required building repair and maintenance works in accordance with the specifications and conditions contained in the official tender documentation.
Scope of Work
The project includes:
- Minor repairs and maintenance to the mortuary facilities.
- Minor repairs and maintenance to doctors’ accommodation.
- Associated building maintenance works as specified in the official tender documents.
- Ensuring that completed works meet the required quality and safety standards.

Key Requirements
- Tenderers must have a CIDB contractor grading of 2GB or higher.
- Only contractors meeting the required CIDB grading are eligible to submit bids.
- Tenders must be submitted using the official tender documentation issued by the Department of Health Free State.
- Bidders must comply with all tender data, sealing, addressing, delivery and assessment requirements.
- Emailed and late tenders will not be accepted.
