Tender Overview
Maluti-a-Phofung Local Municipality invites suitably qualified and capable service providers to submit bids for the supply and delivery of land surveying equipment.
The successful service provider will be expected to supply quality, new and unused surveying equipment that complies with the technical and quality requirements specified in the tender documentation.
Scope of Work
The appointed service provider may be responsible for:
- Sourcing and supplying new, current-model land surveying equipment.
- Secure packaging and transportation of equipment.
- Delivery to the municipality’s designated location.
- Providing relevant operating and maintenance manuals.
- Assembly, commissioning and technical support where required.
- Training municipal personnel in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Providing warranty support and replacement of defective equipment.
- Supplying spare parts and after-sales technical support where applicable.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable South African procurement, tax, customs and quality requirements.
Key Requirements
Bidders should be able to demonstrate:
- Capacity to supply and deliver the required surveying equipment.
- Reliable logistics and supply-chain capabilities.
- Ability to provide technical support, training and commissioning where required.
- Compliance with applicable municipal and government procurement requirements.
- Valid tax and statutory compliance documentation.
- Appropriate warranty and after-sales support arrangements.
- Compliance with the technical specifications and conditions contained in the official tender documents.
Equipment must be brand new, unused and free from defects. Packaging must also be suitable to protect equipment during transportation and handling.
