Purpose of the Role
The Showroom Manager is responsible for the overall management, operations, and performance of the homechoice retail showroom at Twin City Mall.
You’ll lead a team, drive sales, maintain operational excellence, and ensure an outstanding in-store customer experience aligned with the brand’s values.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Operational Management

Oversee daily sales operations and ensure all objectives are met.

Drive sales performance and achieve monthly intake and Net Sales Value (NSV) targets.

Optimize operational efficiency and workflow within the store.
2. Stock & Merchandising
-
Maintain effective stock control and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Align stock levels with customer needs and visual display standards.

Implement monthly promotions and ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
3. Cash & Security Management
-
Oversee cash handling processes, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

Safeguard store security and the well-being of staff and customers.
4. Leadership & Team Development

Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team in a target-driven environment.

Provide training and mentorship to category specialists.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
5. Customer Experience

Deliver a world-class customer experience that builds loyalty and trust.

Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
6. Reporting & Administration

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on performance metrics.

Oversee stockroom management, minimizing goods returns (GRs) and cancellations.

Maintain showroom and back-office cleanliness and organization.
7. Project & Business Management

Implement projects and initiatives that support business growth.

Ensure adherence to brand and operational standards across the showroom.
Minimum Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing (preferred).

Minimum 5 years’ retail experience, ideally in homeware or related industries.

At least 5 years in a leadership role within a target-driven retail environment.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Clear criminal and credit record.
-
Must not be debarred or disqualified under the FAIS Act.
