Position Overview

FS Personnel Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced Somatologist to join a professional salon or spa environment in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be passionate about skincare, wellness, and customer care, with hands-on experience in a range of beauty and body treatments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of professional treatments, including:

  • Waxing

  • Facials

  • Chemical Peels

  • Massages

  • Manicures & Pedicures

  • Gel Nail Extensions

  • Lash Extensions & Makeup (advantageous)

• Conduct ongoing skin and body assessments to design personalized treatment plans.

• Recommend and promote suitable skincare and body-care products.

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and professional treatment environment.

• Build and sustain strong client relationships and deliver excellent service.

Requirements

• Fluent in Afrikaans (read, write, and speak) – non-negotiable

• Diploma in Somatology – non-negotiable

• 1–3 years of practical experience in a salon, spa, or clinic environment.

• Experience with Lamelle and Nimue skincare products/training – advantageous.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Base Rate: R35 per hour (≈ R8,000/month for full-time hours)

• Commission:

  • 10% on treatments

  • 5% on product sales

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00

• Saturday: 08:00 – 16:00
