    Off-Campus Accommodation Administrator (Post Level 13)

    • Location: Bloemfontein
    • Contract: 3 years (Contract appointment)
    • Salary: R231,699.90 – R388,426.59 per annum (on qualifications and experience)

    Position Overview:

    The role involves managing the administration, evaluation, and accreditation of off-campus student accommodation. You will liaise with service providers, students, and authorities, ensure compliance with accreditation requirements, conduct inspections, and maintain records and communication.

    Key Duties:

    • Evaluate and process applications for off-campus accommodation accreditation.

    • Maintain databases of accredited and provisionally accredited service providers.

    • Schedule and conduct accommodation inspections and prepare reports.

    • Communicate policies, procedures, and inspection outcomes to service providers.

    • Coordinate with police, Mangaung Metro, and other stakeholders regarding accommodation safety and compliance.

    • Handle queries and correspondence professionally and promptly.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 / National Vocational Certificate (NQF Level 4)

    • Minimum 1 year relevant experience

    • Valid driver’s license

    Recommended Qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) or 3-year National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Office Administration or related field

    • Postgraduate qualification

    • Experience in building inspections, construction projects, interpreting building plans

    • Knowledge of relevant building legislation and rezoning/consent use protocols
