Job Summary:
Mouldmed Locum International Exchange is seeking qualified Opticians to fill locum and temporary roles within the Free State area. Positions offer flexible working hours, with remuneration based on market-related hourly rates. Candidates must hold the necessary professional certifications to practice in the private sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform optical examinations and provide expert advice on vision correction.
Dispense, fit, and repair glasses and contact lenses.
Work collaboratively with medical teams to deliver comprehensive eye care.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Membership with the Medical Protection Society (MPS) for the private sector.
Relevant Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Optometry.
Experience working in a private sector clinical setting preferred.
Additional Information:
Working hours will be discussed and scheduled in advance.
