Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Hardware & Software Management

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and drivers.

Set up new equipment and repair or replace faulty components.

Maintain routers, servers, and other peripheral devices.
Network Installation & Management

Install and manage LAN/WAN networks, servers, and IP configurations.

Monitor network performance and ensure reliable connectivity.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection

Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from cyber threats.

Ensure data integrity and support disaster recovery procedures.
System Upgrades & Maintenance

Perform regular hardware and software upgrades.

Conduct maintenance sessions to identify inefficiencies and optimize system performance.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support

Diagnose and resolve system failures quickly and effectively.

Provide prompt IT support to employees and assist them with proper system usage.

Keep detailed records of all repairs, installations, and technical interventions.
Documentation & Resource Monitoring

Maintain accurate logs of technical issues and resolutions.

Assess and monitor IT resources to ensure they meet operational requirements.
Skills & Competencies

Qualifications & Experience

A relevant IT qualification is required.

2–3 years of experience in a similar IT support/technician role.

Experience with LAN/WAN networks, servers, and system configuration.
Remuneration
R25 000 – R30 000 per month
