Job Description
The Administrative Clerk will provide general administrative and clerical support services at campus level. The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, supporting personnel administration, and ensuring smooth office operations within the campus environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Provide general clerical support services to the campus
- Record, organise, and maintain correspondence files and documentation
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks
Personnel Administration
- Maintain leave registers and attendance registers
- Update and manage personnel records
- Support HR-related administrative processes
Records Management
- Capture and update data accurately
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping systems
- Maintain campus administrative databases and documentation
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- N6 in Office Management or
- National Diploma in Office Management
AND
- At least 1 year experience in a clerical or administrative environment
- Computer literacy
Knowledge Requirements
Candidates should have knowledge of:
- TVET sector policies
- Department of Higher Education policies
- Public Service legislative framework
- Office administrative procedures
