Job Description
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across offices, classrooms, and campus facilities. The role involves routine cleaning tasks and ensuring a safe, neat, and hygienic environment for staff and students.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean offices, classrooms, corridors, kitchens, halls, and surrounding areas
- Vacuum, sweep, and dust all designated areas
- Empty litter bins daily across campus
- Clean windows, doors, and walls
Hygiene and Supplies
- Replenish toilet paper, soap, and hand towels
- Ensure proper use of cleaning materials and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the campus
General Duties
- Carry out all assigned cleaning tasks as required
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with staff and students
- Follow safety and cleaning procedures
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- ABET / Standard 8 / Grade 10
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to read and write
Skills and Competencies
- Basic communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Time management and flexibility
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proper handling of cleaning materials
