Job Description:
The Back Clinic is currently expanding its locum pool and is looking for a passionate and qualified Biokineticist to provide on-call support at its Bloemfontein practice. The successful candidate will assist with the rehabilitation of patients suffering from back, neck, and other musculoskeletal conditions, utilizing conservative, hands-on treatment approaches.
This opportunity is ideal for biokineticists seeking flexible, part-time work with a reputable rehabilitation-focused practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments and evaluations

Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans

Monitor, record, and assess patient progress

Promote conservative treatment methods for conditions affecting the back and neck

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Provide education and support to patients on injury prevention and recovery

Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
-
Ensure all work complies with ethical and clinical standards
Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 1 year post-community service experience (Essential)

HPCSA registration (2025/2026) (Essential)

Strong interest in spinal rehabilitation (Essential)

Driver’s license and reliable transport (Advantageous)
Preferred Competencies & Skills:
Technical & Clinical Skills:

Proficiency in biokinetics techniques

Familiarity with physiotherapy treatment methods

Knowledge of DBC Protocol (Advantageous – training provided)

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Cloud tools

Strong understanding of ethical and legal healthcare practices
