Job Overview
The Installations Quality Assurer is responsible for ensuring that all vehicle tracking and electronic equipment installations meet Tracker’s quality, technical, and customer service standards. The role focuses on quality control, compliance, mentoring technicians, and improving installation procedures across fitment centres within the assigned area.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining high installation quality, reducing technical faults, supporting recovery success rates, and delivering excellent service to customers and internal stakeholders.
Job Description
The key responsibilities include:
Quality Assurance & Compliance

Conduct regular and planned quality assessments of technicians and fitment centres

Ensure installations comply with Tracker standards, OEM bulletins, and technical procedures

Identify installation shortfalls and implement corrective solutions
-
Maintain strong quality and reporting standards
Technical Support & Evaluation
-
Engage with technicians on technical issues and fault-finding discussions
-
Attend to quality-related technical service requests (SRs)

Handle battery drainage complaints and installation-related faults
-
Perform test requests, PICs, and assist with project installations
Training & Mentorship
-
Mentor, motivate, and educate technicians to improve installation quality

Ensure all technical bulletins are properly communicated to technicians and fitment centres
Reporting & Administration

Compile reports and provide structured feedback to technicians and management

Ensure compliance with reporting requirements to admin and management
-
Liaise between multiple departments to resolve technical and quality matters
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

Liaise with clients to resolve technical issues and deliver service excellence

Uphold customer service ethics and professional conduct

Support after-hours standby duties when required
Performance & Recovery Support

Maintain Tracker’s recommended recovery rate through quality installation processes

Continuously evaluate and improve technical and quality procedures
