Job Overview
Eduvos is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Student Affairs Advisor to join its Bloemfontein campus on a permanent basis.
The primary purpose of this role is to build and maintain strong student relationships and provide comprehensive support throughout the entire student journey — from enrolment to graduation. The role focuses on enhancing the student experience, improving student retention, and ensuring smooth onboarding and engagement processes.
The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for assigned students and play a key role in student engagement, governance, wellness, and campus life initiatives.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate qualification in:
Social Work
Education / Educational Psychology
Counselling (Diploma)
Communication
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience.
Preferably experience as a Student Advisor in higher education or a professional development environment.
Key Responsibilities
Student Onboarding & Enrolment
Facilitate the end-to-end enrolment and onboarding process.
Manage handover and transition from new business.
Provide induction and orientation support, including system access.
Handle student contract management.
Student Support & Query Resolution
Act as first point of contact for assigned students.
Manage student and sponsor queries.
Provide first-level issue resolution and problem-solving.
Conduct scheduled formal check-ins with students.
Student Engagement & Governance
Support Student Representative Council (SRC) and class representatives.
Facilitate on-campus election processes.
Implement student activities, events, clubs, and societies.
Develop and implement operational plans and budgets related to student activities.
Safeguarding & Wellness
Facilitate incident reporting and response processes.
Promote student wellness awareness.
Provide referrals to appropriate support services where necessary.
