Purpose of the Internship
To provide administrative support across five sub-departments within Student Academic Services, while gaining hands-on experience in academic administration and exposure to university operations.
Key Responsibilities
-
Assist with data entry and maintaining student academic records
-
Support student enrolment and admissions processes
-
Help manage academic transcripts, certificates, and graduation logistics
-
Participate in examination scheduling and timetabling
-
Provide customer service (email, phone, and walk-in queries)
-
Assist in quality assurance and document verification
-
Help maintain accurate and updated institutional data (via PeopleSoft Campus Solutions)
-
Engage in continuous learning and attend training/workshops
Minimum Requirements (Inherent)

National Diploma / Advanced Certificate (NQF Level 6) in one of the following:
-
Administration / Office Administration
-
Public or Business Management
-
Business Administration
-
Communication / Public Relations
-
Computer Sciences / Data Management
-
Project Management
-
Recommendations (Advantageous)
-
Basic computer literacy (MS Office 365 and other Microsoft tools)
