Main Purpose of the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach and facilitate History Education modules.
- Support postgraduate students academically.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
- Deliver lectures according to approved module guides and academic schedules.
- Facilitate interactive and student-centred learning experiences.
- Ensure achievement of learning outcomes.
- Integrate current educational theories and practices into teaching.
- Encourage critical thinking and historical inquiry among students.
Student Academic Support
- Provide academic guidance and consultation to students.
- Identify students experiencing academic difficulties.

Assessment and Evaluation

Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor of Education Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9)
- Specialisation in History Education or a closely related field
- Qualification at least one NQF level higher than the qualification being taught
- Academic transcript required
