Job Description
OOWEBOO Digital Agency is looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join its team in Bloemfontein. The intern will gain practical experience in creating visual content for digital and print platforms while working on real client projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior designers, creative teams and marketing professionals while gaining exposure to graphic design, branding, digital marketing, web design and image editing in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create visual assets for digital and print media.
- Design social media graphics and marketing materials.
- Assist with creating website visual elements.
- Support logo design and branding projects.
- Assist with image editing and graphic design tasks.
- Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams.
- Apply feedback and make design improvements.
- Contribute to real client projects under the guidance of senior designers.
- Develop practical skills through mentorship and hands-on experience.
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in:
- Graphic Design
- Visual Communication
- Multimedia
- Or a related field.
- Strong foundational graphic design skills.
- Good understanding of layout, colour and typography.
- Ability to contribute to logo design and branding projects.
- Familiarity with image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and web design concepts will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Bloemfontein.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
