    Scope of Work:

    The appointed service provider will undertake a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade project at the SAPS Training College in Welkom Thabong, consisting of the following core components:

    • Installation and connection of a backup generator to ensure continuous power supply during outages.

    • Provision and installation of emergency water storage facilities to ensure availability during service disruptions.

    • Implementation of fire escape systems and safety measures to enhance emergency evacuation capabilities.

    • Complete repair and refurbishment of roof structures, including:

      • Structural repairs

      • Waterproofing

      • Roof finishing

      • Ensuring compliance with building safety and standards

    The contractor will be responsible for project management, site preparation, coordination, health & safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

    CIDB Grading Required:

    Minimum CIDB Grade: 8GB or higher

    Functionality & Compliance Requirements:

    • Past Experience:

      • At least two (2) completed comparable projects within the last 10 years (valued at 7GB level or higher)

      • Submit practical/final completion certificates with client contact details

    • Minimum functionality score to qualify: 65/100

    • Key Personnel Requirements:

      • Construction Manager

      • Health & Safety Officer/Manager

      • Quantity Surveyor

      • All must be registered with relevant bodies (e.g., SACPCMP)

      • Provide CVs, qualifications, registration certificates

    • BBBEE & Preference Points:

      • Proof of black ownership, youth, women, or persons with disabilities

      • Valid sworn affidavits or B-BBEE certificates must be submitted
