Job Purpose
To perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services on vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair services on vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify root causes.
- Recommend repair solutions and provide cost estimates where required.
- Complete repair work efficiently and according to manufacturer standards.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Communicate with customers regarding repair status and maintenance recommendations.
- Collaborate with workshop staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working condition.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Automotive Technician certification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a service technician role.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy equipment when required.
