Job Overview
Mahareng Media and Advertising, publishers of Bloemfontein Courant and Bloemfontein Get It, is seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to join their print and digital sales team.
This target-driven role focuses on managing and growing an existing client base while actively pursuing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will sell advertising space across print and online platforms, promote custom print and design solutions, and build long-term client relationships that drive revenue and brand growth.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Sell advertising space across print publications and digital platforms

Manage and grow an existing client database

Generate new business through proactive sales efforts

Sell custom print and design solutions to new and existing clients

Meet and exceed monthly sales targets

Build and maintain strong, profitable client relationships

Present proposals and campaigns using professional sales presentations

Promote a positive and professional image of the employer
Minimum Requirements

Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle

Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Computer literacy (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

Proven sales experience (media/advertising sales advantageous)

Strong client service orientation

Self-motivated and target-driven
