Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Required Education:

Professional Nurse qualification

Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management or an Accredited Management Qualification
OR -
5 years of leadership experience in a hospital setting

Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (for those managing specialist units like Perioperative Nursing)
Experience:

Minimum 5 years as a Professional Nurse in a hospital

Minimum 2 years in a leadership role within a hospital
Skills and Knowledge:

Infection prevention and control

Quality assurance and continuous improvement
