Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, specialised nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team
Identify, prevent, and manage clinical risks to ensure patient safety
Promote a positive patient experience by maintaining a supportive and healing environment
Keep accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
Foster a learning culture to support staff development and competence
Ensure proper usage and charging of medical stock and equipment
Qualifications:
Required Education:
Degree or Diploma in General Nursing
Desired Education:
Midwifery
Postgraduate certificate or diploma in a relevant specialty area (e.g. ICU)
Experience:
Essential: None
Desired: 1 year of post-graduate experience in a specialised unit
Skills and Knowledge:
Infection prevention and control
Nursing procedures, processes, and patient assessments
Scientific nursing principles and care planning
Risk identification and basic life support (ACLS, ATLS, or PALS for specialised wards)
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
Knowledge of nursing legislation and pharmacology
