Job Responsibilities
As an Alarm and CCTV Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Installation of Security Systems – Setting up CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security products at industrial and financial institutions.
- Fault Finding and Maintenance – Diagnosing issues, repairing faults, and ensuring all systems function optimally.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance – Ensuring all installations adhere to industry and client standards.
- Stock Control – Managing inventory to ensure the availability of necessary equipment.
- Documentation – Completing job cards and keeping accurate records of installations and maintenance tasks.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Valid Driver’s License – Required for travel to client sites.
- 3 Years’ Relevant Experience in CCTV and alarm system installation.
- Certifications:
- Alarm system certification
- CCTV certification
- PSIRA and SAIDSA certification (Beneficial but not mandatory)
- Location: Must reside in Bloemfontein or surrounding areas.
- Clear Criminal & Credit Record – Due to the nature of clients, this is non-negotiable.
Salary and Benefits
