Tender Overview
The National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) invites qualified service providers to submit quotations for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of the Tissue Tek VIP 6 tissue processor located at the Histology Department of NHLS Universitas in Bloemfontein.
The successful bidder will be responsible for carrying out scheduled maintenance, repairs, and supplying the required spare parts and consumables to ensure the equipment remains fully operational and performs according to manufacturer specifications.
Scope of Work
The appointed service provider will be responsible for:
- Repairing and maintaining the Tissue Tek VIP 6 tissue processor (Serial Number: 60321201-0715).
- Performing annual preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Supplying and installing required spare parts, including:
- Switching Power Supply (Part Code: A3161073 | Model: LEB225F-0524)
- LCD Module (Part Code: 0000-4796 | Model: TCG104VGLBDBGK-AH01)
- Supplying consumables required for maintenance activities.
- Completing repairs within the agreed turnaround times.
- Ensuring equipment is fully functional after servicing.
Minimum Requirements
Interested bidders should demonstrate:
- Experience servicing and maintaining Tissue Tek or similar laboratory equipment.
- Availability of qualified technical personnel with relevant expertise.
- Ability to supply the specified spare parts.
- Capacity to complete maintenance and repair work within the required timeframes.
- Compliance with the technical specifications outlined in the RFQ documentation.

- Reference letters for similar projects completed within the last two years.

- 2 Junior Supply Chain Management Consultants
- 1 Mid-Level Project Manager / Supply Chain Management Consultant

- Provide experienced and qualified technical staff.
- Complete repairs and maintenance within agreed timelines.
- Supply the specified replacement parts where required.
