    Job Purpose

    To provide unemployed youth with practical work experience and skills development in merchandising through a structured internship program within the FMCG sector.

    Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

    • Aged between 18 and 28 years

    • N6 TVET Certificate (for 18-month internship) or

    • NCV Level 4 Certificate in a relevant field (for 12-month internship)

    • No previous work experience required

    • Reside in or near Welkom

    • Eagerness to learn and work in a professional environment

    Technical Competencies

    • Basic product knowledge and shelf management

    • Understanding of merchandising principles

    • Willingness to follow and adapt to structured processes

    • Good communication and observation skills

    Key Responsibilities

    • Determine and draw stock to be merchandised

    • Perform stock rotation and quality checks (vintage, condition, pricing)

    • Execute merchandising activities as per cycle briefs

    • Maintain product displays and promotional compliance

    • Report out-of-stock products to RSM (Regional Sales Manager)

    • Provide feedback on customer complaints and requests

    • Accurately record merchandising activities and store visits

    • Follow the assigned call cycle

    Stipend & Duration

    • Stipend: R3,500 per month

    • N6 TVET Internship Duration: 18 months

    • NCV Level 4 Internship Duration: 12 months
