Job Purpose
To manage and oversee the effective delivery of Primary Health Care (PHC) services to students and staff, ensuring high standards of clinical, administrative, and operational excellence in a university setting.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Three (3) or four (4) year Nursing Diploma or Degree in General Nursing, Community Nursing, Psychiatry, and/or Midwifery
Professional Nurse registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC)
Valid Dispensing License
Competence in HAST management (HIV, AIDS, STI, TB)
Knowledge of medical legislation (e.g. Medicine & Related Substances Control Act)
Understanding of South African Higher Education systems and policy frameworks
Project management and report writing skills
Proficient in Excel and Word (Intermediate level)
Desired Qualifications & Experience
Qualification in Nursing Management & Administration
Diploma in Clinical Nursing Science, Assessment, Treatment, and Care (PHC)
Five (5) years’ experience managing a Primary Health Care Clinic or equivalent

Compile and submit reports to internal and external stakeholders
Represent the unit in institutional and external healthcare forums
