Tender Objective
The purpose of this tender is to appoint a suitably qualified consulting service provider to oversee the refurbishment and upgrading of the Theunissen Sports Facility in Masilo.
The project seeks to improve and modernise sports infrastructure to better serve community recreational, sporting, and youth development needs.
Scope of Services
The appointed consultant will be responsible for:
Infrastructure Assessment
- Conducting assessments of existing sports facilities.

Planning and Design

Technical Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate:
Professional Registration
Key personnel must be registered with the:
Engineering Council of South Africa
as either:
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng), or
- Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech)
Ownership Requirement
At least 50% ownership of the consulting entity must be held by appropriately registered professionals.
Supplier Registration
- Registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
- Submission of the CSD registration summary report.
Municipal Compliance
- Municipal rates and taxes account in good standing.
- No outstanding municipal debt exceeding 90 days.
Tender Documentation
- All compulsory MBD forms completed and signed.
- Submission of all required supporting documents.
