Objective
To appoint a qualified contractor to design, supply, and install hospital signage at Dr JS Moroka Hospital in order to:
Improve wayfinding for patients and visitors
Enhance safety and regulatory compliance
Strengthen hospital branding and visual identity
Improve overall facility aesthetics
Scope of Work
The project includes:
Design & Supply
Design of compliant hospital signage
Production of indoor and outdoor signage
Use of durable and weather-resistant materials
Installation
Installation at designated hospital locations
Proper mounting and structural fixing
Ensuring alignment with accessibility standards
Compliance & Coordination
Compliance with health and safety regulations
Alignment with hospital branding guidelines
Coordination with hospital management regarding timelines and access
Technical Requirements
Tenderers must:
Hold a valid CIDB grading of 1SK
Use durable, weather-resistant materials
Ensure signage is clear, legible, and accessible
Apply professional mounting techniques
Adhere to hospital visual identity standards
Comply with occupational health and safety regulations
Skills & Experience Requirements
The successful bidder must demonstrate:
Experience in signage design and installation
Experience in healthcare or institutional environments (advantageous)
Technical knowledge of signage materials and installation systems
Ability to manage installation without disrupting hospital operations
Strong safety compliance record
