Job Description
This position is ideal for an ambitious and self-motivated Physiotherapist who is passionate about patient care and interested in building a long-term career within a growing practice. The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions, particularly back and neck-related disorders, while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment and Treatment
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments.
- Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Treat patients presenting with back and neck conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans where necessary.
Clinical Procedures
- Apply Dry Needling techniques where appropriate.
- Perform strapping and taping interventions.
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy treatments.
- Implement rehabilitation and recovery programs.
- Educate patients on injury prevention and self-management strategies.
Patient Care and Relationship Management
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Ensure excellent patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Promote patient-centered healthcare services.
Administration and Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.

Minimum Requirements
Professional Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Registered Physiotherapist.
Registration
- Active registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa for 2026/2027.
Experience
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ post-community service experience.
- Experience assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Certifications
Essential
- Completed Dry Needling Course.
- Completed Strapping Course.

- Must reside within 40 km of Welkom practice.
