Position Summary:
Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced retail environment. The Branch Manager is responsible for overall store performance, including staff management, customer satisfaction, profitability, and operational excellence. This role requires strategic planning, effective leadership, and a focus on creating a positive work environment that drives sales and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Financial Management:
Drive store profitability through daily planning, execution, and monitoring of all operations.
Manage budgets, financial reporting, and administrative tasks to meet company targets.
Stock & Merchandising:
Oversee inventory management, stock control, and replenishment processes.
Ensure store presentation and merchandising standards align with company guidelines.
Customer Service & Safety:
Ensure superior customer service and a shopping environment that enhances the customer experience.
Maintain safety and security standards for staff, customers, and assets.
People Management:
Lead, coach, and develop store staff to optimize performance and engagement.
Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive work culture.
Operational Excellence:
Implement company strategies and initiatives to drive operational efficiency.
Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 (essential).
3–5 years’ experience in management within a retail environment.
Retail Management or Business Diploma (advantageous).
