    Job Purpose

    The Financial Advisor / Wealth Advisor is responsible for helping clients achieve their financial goals through professional financial planning, investment advice, risk management, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance solutions, and agricultural risk management. The role focuses on building long-term client relationships while growing a sustainable client portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients.
    • Understand clients’ financial goals, needs, and challenges.
    • Provide ongoing support and regular financial reviews.
    • Deliver exceptional client service and advice.

    Financial Planning and Advisory Services

    • Develop comprehensive financial plans.
    • Provide advice on:
      • Investments
      • Retirement planning
      • Estate planning
      • Tax planning
      • Risk management
      • Life insurance
      • Short-term insurance
      • Agricultural risk solutions
    • Monitor and adjust financial strategies as client needs change.

    Business Development

    • Grow and manage a client portfolio.
    • Identify new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
    • Build relationships within agricultural communities and business networks.
    • Leverage existing industry connections to attract new clients.
    • Maintain and expand a sustainable book of business.

    Industry and Regulatory Compliance

    • Stay updated on financial legislation and regulations.
    • Keep abreast of market developments and financial products.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and advisory requirements.

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualifications

    One of the following:

    • National Certificate
    • Advanced Diploma
    • BTech Degree
    • BCom Degree

    Fields of study:

    • Accounting
    • Business Management
    • Finance
    • Marketing
    • Risk Management

    Mandatory Requirement

    • RE5 Regulatory Examination Certification

    Experience

    • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Financial Planner.
    • Experience as a:
      • Wealth Advisor
      • Financial Consultant
      • Insurance Broker
      • Financial Advisor

    Advantageous Qualifications

    • CFP® (Certified Financial Planner® / Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning)
    • Experience working with agricultural clients or rural communities.
    • Existing client base or transferable book of business.
