Job Overview
A well-established firm within the Financial Services sector is seeking a Qualified SAIPA / SAICA Accountant to join their branch in Bloemfontein.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monthly processing of client financial information, drafting financial statements, tax calculations, and various accounting administrative functions.
Minimum Requirements

BCom Accounting degree.

Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles.

Valid driver’s licence with own transport.

Experience using Sage Pastel, Xero, and Caseware.

Strong attention to detail and high confidentiality standards.

Ability to identify abnormalities in financial structures and transactions.
Key Responsibilities
-
Monthly processing of bank statements and related financial information.
-
Manage monthly salaries and related tax returns.
-
Perform creditor and debtor reconciliations.
-
Prepare monthly cash flow statements.
-
Submit VAT returns.
-
Draft financial statements.
-
Submit income tax returns.
-
Assist auditors during audits.
-
Verify payments from bank statements against third-party payments and funds received.

Perform ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks when required.
