    Job Description

    The Forensic Audit Trainee will work within VKB Group’s Internal Audit Department. The successful candidate will assist in conducting forensic and routine audits across the group and contribute to fraud prevention and detection. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop practical forensic auditing experience within a leading agricultural organization, while also contributing to the organization’s internal control environment and risk management efforts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and conduct forensic and routine audits and fraud investigations

    • Compile investigation and audit reports for management

    • Interview relevant individuals and take formal statements

    • Analyze financial records and internal systems from a forensic perspective

    • Conduct data analytics and interpret results to identify irregularities

    • Identify and report on system and internal control weaknesses

    • Advise management on fraud risk and prevention strategies

    • Provide evidence and testimony during disciplinary hearings or legal proceedings

    • Liaise with law enforcement and intelligence agencies when required

    • Travel regularly to VKB sites as part of audit and investigation activities

    Minimum Requirements

    • Completed Degree in Forensic Auditing

    • Honours Degree in Forensic Auditing (advantageous)

    • Valid Driver’s License

    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
