Job Description
VKB Group is looking for a skilled System Analyst to support the planning, design, implementation, and optimisation of information and operational systems.
The role involves analysing business systems, solving technical issues, supporting software applications, and improving IT processes to support organisational goals within the agricultural and food supply chain environment.
Purpose of the Role
The System Analyst will:
- Improve operational systems and IT processes.
- Analyse and resolve system-related issues.
- Support business users and IT infrastructure.
- Ensure compatibility between systems and applications.
- Assist with new application deployment and system enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
- College diploma or university degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Science
- Management Information Systems
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years’ related work experience.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in:
- Software and hardware implementation
- Systems design and support
- Extensive experience with:
- NAV
- Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC)
- Understanding of:
- Accounting principles
- Business systems
- Organisational goals and operations

Main Responsibilities
Systems Analysis and Development
- Assist in designing new applications and improving existing systems.
- Analyse current systems and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compatibility between internal and third-party systems.
Business and User Support
- Meet with system owners, decision-makers, and end users to:
- Define business requirements
- Resolve system issues
- Provide ongoing system support to the business.
Testing and Deployment
- Coordinate testing for modified and new systems.
- Support implementation of new applications and upgrades.
- Train and orientate end users on systems.
Research and Technical Support
- Research hardware and software products.
- Support purchasing recommendations and system improvements.
- Create system documentation, models, charts, and specifications.
Financial and Reporting Support
- Handle financial reconciliations and enquiries.
- Perform root cause analysis and reporting.
