Main Purpose of the Job:
To develop and promote Philagro’s Biorational (including plant growth regulators, biostimulants, biologicals, and biofertilisers) and Conventional product portfolio in Row Crop and Vegetable markets by creating demand, offering technical support, and driving regional product adoption.
Key Responsibilities / Main Tasks:

Provide technical support to farmers and agents

Conduct product training and technical education
-
Perform field trials and demonstrate product value
-
Organise farmer days, pre-launch, and launch events
-
Support sales growth through product promotion
-
Contribute to product stewardship and R&D activities
-
Manage regional budgets
-
Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing strategies
-
Build relationships with key industry players, farmers, and retailers
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture or related field
-
Proven experience with row crops and vegetables
-
Sound knowledge of:
-
Crop protection industry
-
Biorationals (e.g. biologicals, biostimulants)
-
Conventional agricultural products
-

Understanding of:
-
Plant physiology, plant nutrition, soil health, and crop production systems

Fluent in English and Afrikaans
-
Willing to travel regularly within the allocated regions
