Tender Description
Maluti-a-Phofung Water (SOC) Ltd is inviting quotations for the supply and delivery of extension/sliding ladders and foldable ladders. The equipment will support routine maintenance, inspections and field operations.
Scope of Supply
The successful supplier will be required to:
- Supply and deliver 4 extension/sliding ladders.
- Supply and deliver 4 foldable ladders.
- Ensure the ladders meet the required specifications and are suitable for commercial/municipal use.
- Arrange transportation and delivery to the designated municipal facility.
- Include all delivery and applicable costs in the quotation.
- Fulfil the contract as a once-off supply, with no ongoing maintenance or servicing required.

Requirements for Bidders
- Submit a firm, VAT-exclusive quotation.
- Quotations must be printed on official company letterhead.
- Place the quotation in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project title and tender reference number.
- Include valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN/certificate.
- Provide a Central Supplier Database (CSD) summary report.
- Provide a municipal rates clearance certificate or proof that municipal rates are not more than three months in arrears.
- Provide a company registration certificate reflecting active members.
- Complete all required municipal bidding and declaration forms.
- Provide applicable B-BBEE documentation where required.
Skills and Capacity
No specialised engineering or installation skills are required. This is primarily a goods-supply contract. Suppliers should, however, have sufficient capacity to:
- Source compliant ladder equipment.
- Safely store and handle the ladders.
- Arrange reliable transportation.
- Deliver the equipment within the required timeframe.
- Complete all mandatory procurement and compliance documentation correctly.
Important Note
The tender is for the supply and delivery of 8 ladders in total — 4 extension/sliding ladders and 4 foldable ladders. Delivery costs must be included in the quoted price.
