Tender Objective
The purpose of this RFQ is to establish a panel of suppliers to provide and deliver refrigeration equipment to NHLS laboratories in the Gauteng Region over a 12-month period.
The equipment will be used in laboratory environments and must comply with the specified technical and quality standards.
Scope of Work
The successful supplier(s) will be responsible for:
Supply of Bar Fridges
- Supply approved laboratory-compatible bar fridges.
- Deliver equipment to designated NHLS facilities.
- Provide warranty support and preventative maintenance.
Supply of Domestic Fridge Freezer Combos
- Supply domestic fridge/freezer combinations meeting NHLS specifications.
- Deliver equipment to designated laboratories.
- Provide after-sales support and maintenance services.
Maintenance Services
- Conduct preventative maintenance during warranty periods.
- Provide technical support.
- Provide post-warranty service support.

1. Bar Fridge
Requirements
- Floor-standing unit.
- Minimum 2 shelves.
- Single-door configuration.

Warranty Requirements
- 24-month warranty.
- Preventative maintenance at least twice during the warranty period.

- ISO 13485
- ISO 9001
Warranty Requirements
- 24-month warranty.
- Additional 3-year post-warranty service support.
Delivery Requirements
The successful bidder must:
- Supply equipment within 2–4 weeks of contract award.
- Deliver to NHLS laboratory facilities in the Gauteng Region.
- Ensure equipment arrives in good condition and fully operational.

- Completed SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest)

- Initial every page of the RFQ document

- Experience supplying refrigeration equipment.
- Experience supplying laboratory or healthcare institutions is advantageous.
Technical Capability
- Ability to provide preventative maintenance.

- Ability to provide manufacturer certificates and brochures.
