Tender Objective
The purpose of this RFQ is to establish a panel of suppliers to supply, deliver, and support refrigeration equipment required by NHLS laboratories.
The appointed supplier(s) must provide:
- Bar fridges
- Domestic household fridge/freezer combinations
- Warranty support
- Preventative maintenance
- Post-warranty service support
Scope of Work
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
Supply
- Supply approved refrigeration units according to NHLS specifications.
- Ensure products meet laboratory operational requirements.
Delivery
- Deliver equipment to designated NHLS laboratories.
- Complete delivery within 2–4 weeks of receiving an order.
Maintenance
- Conduct preventative maintenance during warranty periods.
- Provide after-sales technical support.
- Provide post-warranty maintenance services.
Compliance
- Ensure equipment complies with required manufacturing and quality standards.
- Provide supporting technical documentation and certificates.

- Failure to provide mandatory documents may lead to disqualification.

Experience
- Proven experience supplying refrigeration equipment.
- Experience supplying healthcare or laboratory institutions is advantageous.
Technical Capability
- Preventative maintenance capability.
- Technical support and after-sales service capability.
- Ability to manage warranty claims.
Compliance
- Tax compliance.
- B-BBEE compliance.
- Registration on the Central Supplier Database.
Delivery Capacity
- Ability to supply and deliver within 2–4 weeks.
- Capacity to support multiple laboratory sites over the contract period.
