    Job Overview:

    • Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Practitioner (Demand and Acquisition Management)

    • Salary: R397,116 per annum

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist end-users in compiling specifications/terms of reference for quotes and bids

    • Support the development of Demand and Procurement Management Plans

    • Source suppliers via the Central Supplier Database (CSD) following procurement regulations

    • Coordinate and conduct supplier briefing sessions

    • Maintain bid and contract registers and prepare tender documents

    • Receive, register, and conduct pre-administration checks on bids

    • Manage bid documentation and ensure safe recordkeeping

    • Provide support to Bid Committees (BSC, BEC, BAC) including secretarial duties

    • Compile contract files and support audit processes

    • Prepare procurement reports, statistics, and management information

    • Supervise junior staff and provide procurement guidance

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in:

      • Supply Chain Management

      • Purchasing Management

      • Public Administration/Management

      • Business or Logistics Management

      • Or a related field

    • 2–3 years’ experience in Demand and Acquisition Management

    • Sound knowledge of:

      • PFMA

      • PPPFA

      • B-BBEE Act

      • Treasury Regulations

      • Supply Chain Framework Act

    • Experience with Bid Committees (BSC, BEC, BAC)

    • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

    • Analytical, planning, and organizational abilities

    • Valid driver’s license required
