    Tender Objective

    The objective of this RFQ is to appoint a service provider to supply a fully operational (“wet”) sludge pump, including a qualified operator/driver, for a period of 10 days to support sludge pumping operations within Ladybrand.

    Scope of Work

    The scope of the tender includes:

    • Provision of one (01) sludge pump

    • Hire period of 10 consecutive days

    • Sludge pump must be fully operational (“wet”)

    • Provision of a qualified and experienced operator/driver

    • Inclusion of all associated operational and transport costs in the quotation

    Technical Requirements

    • Quantity: 1 sludge pump

    • Must be operational (“wet”)

    • Suitable for municipal sludge pumping operations

    • Operator/driver must be provided by the service provider

    • All costs related to hire, operation, and delivery must be included

    Compliance and Documentation Requirements

    Bidders must:

    • Complete and submit MBD 4 and MBD 6.1 forms

    • Be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)

    • Provide a Municipal Rates and Taxes Account / Services Statement (not in arrears for more than three months)

    • Submit a signed quotation by an authorised representative

    • Comply with municipal procurement and safety regulations

    Skills and Capacity Requirements

    • Demonstrated capability in sludge pumping operations

    • Provision of qualified and experienced personnel

    • Compliance with occupational health and safety standards

    • Familiarity with municipal procedures and reporting requirements
