Tender Objective
The objective of this RFQ is to appoint a service provider to supply a wet combination truck, including a qualified operator/driver, for a period of 10 days to support municipal water transportation or related service delivery activities in Ladybrand.
Scope of Work
The scope of the tender includes:
Provision of one (01) wet combination truck
Hire period of 10 consecutive days
Provision of a qualified and experienced operator/driver
Inclusion of all operational, transport, and associated costs in the quoted price
Service delivery in accordance with municipal requirements and schedules
Technical Requirements
Quantity: 1 combination truck
Must be operational (“wet”) and suitable for water transportation
Must include a driver/operator
All costs, including VAT, must be clearly indicated
Vehicle must comply with municipal, road, and safety standards
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
Bidders must:
Complete and submit MBD 4 and MBD 6.1 forms
Be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
Provide a Municipal Rates and Taxes / Services Statement (not in arrears for more than three months)
Submit a signed quotation by an authorised representative
Comply with all municipal procurement and safety regulations
Skills and Capacity Requirements
Proven ability to operate a wet combination truck
Availability of a qualified and experienced driver/operator
Compliance with health, safety, and municipal regulations
Ability to deliver services within the specified 10-day period
