Purpose of the Tender
The purpose of this RFQ is to appoint a service provider to supply a rental Skid Steer Loader (Bobcat) to the Ficksburg Unit for a period of 15 working days. The equipment will be used for municipal operational activities requiring compact earthmoving and material-handling machinery.
Scope of Work
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
Equipment Rental
- Providing one operational Skid Steer Loader (Bobcat).
- Ensuring the machine is fully functional and ready for use.
- Making the equipment available for a rental period of 15 working days.
Delivery
- Delivering the equipment to the designated municipal site in Ficksburg.
- Delivering within 2 days of receiving the official purchase order, unless an alternative delivery period is clearly stated in the quotation.
Operational Readiness
- Ensuring the machine meets safety and operational standards.
- Supplying equipment in good mechanical condition.
- Providing any necessary documentation relating to the machine.
Technical Requirements
The Skid Steer Loader must:
- Be fully operational and serviceable.
- Comply with applicable safety regulations.
- Be suitable for construction, maintenance, earthmoving, and municipal operations.
- Be delivered within the stipulated timeframe.
- Remain available throughout the 15-day rental period.
Quotation Requirements
- Quotations must remain valid for 30 days.
- Delivery periods must be clearly stated where different from the municipality’s requirement.
