Tender Overview

The Department of Employment and Labour is seeking a qualified security service provider to render security services at four Labour Centres in the Free State for a period of 36 months (3 years).

The appointed service provider will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, visitors, assets, and facilities at the designated offices. The contract will require full compliance with all security regulations, legal requirements, and departmental specifications.

Tender Scope of Work

The successful bidder will be required to:

• Provide security services at all four specified Labour Centres.

• Deploy trained and qualified security personnel.

• Ensure compliance with all security standards and technical specifications.

• Manage service delivery across multiple locations.

• Include all transport and delivery costs in the pricing.

• Submit separate pricing schedules if required for different delivery points.

• Ensure services commence and are delivered within the specified timeframe.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of security personnel at each location.

• Compliance with applicable security legislation and industry standards.

• Adherence to safety and operational requirements.

• Full inclusion of logistics and transport costs in the bid.

• Ability to manage operations across multiple sites simultaneously.

Skills & Competency Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate:

• Availability of trained and PSIRA-compliant security personnel.

• Experience in similar government or institutional security contracts.

• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the security industry.
