Job Purpose
To educate clients on self-service digital banking solutions while providing effective sales and service support. The role aims to meet business goals by growing market share through excellent client service, cross-selling, and promoting digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement

Respond to client needs by providing appropriate solutions.

Build client trust through expert advice and good service.

Educate clients on account subscription and digital self-service channels.

Manage client requests end-to-end.

Build and retain client relationships through regular follow-up.

Deliver value through cross-selling and identifying additional needs.

Obtain referrals and convert leads into sustainable business.

Ensure clients are onboarded correctly and in line with Nedbank policies.
Sales and Business Growth

Meet service excellence and personal development goals.

Achieve individual and team sales targets.

Increase market share through salary switching, debit order switching, and Core+ needs discussions.

Ensure sales activities are planned, tracked, and completed.
Risk & Compliance

Ensure compliance with FICA, FAIS, and other legislation.

Requirements
Experience
-
2–3 years in Retail/Banking Client Service, Sales, or Relationship roles.

2–3 years in a customer service/client-facing role.
Education
-
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Business-related Certificate or Diploma (advantageous)

Institute of Banking qualification (advantageous)
FAIS Qualification

120 FAIS Credits or FAIS Approved Qualification (required)
