Role Overview
A Store Manager is responsible for leading a high-performance retail store by ensuring operational excellence, achieving sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and developing a strong, motivated team. This role requires strong leadership, strong business acumen, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management

Drive store performance to meet and exceed sales targets.

Maximise revenue through effective promotion of add-ons, gross profit initiatives, and other income streams.

Ensure consistent execution of merchandising and marketing standards.

Attract and retain a loyal customer base through excellent service and store presentation.
2. Inventory Management

Oversee inventory control and stock management.

Monitor stock availability and adjust ordering and merchandising based on customer demand and sales trends.

Ensure minimal stock loss and shrinkage through effective control measures.
3. Customer Service

Ensure exceptional customer experiences at all times.

Review and act on Mystery Shopper reports and customer feedback.

Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly and effectively.

Lead by example and reinforce a customer-first culture among staff.
4. People Management

Train, develop, and motivate staff to reach their full potential.

Plan for succession and encourage internal growth and promotions.

Manage performance consistently and fairly.

Foster a positive, engaging, and productive working environment.
5. Administration & Compliance

Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and systems.

Oversee daily administrative tasks such as cash-ups, safe checks, alarm checks, and maintenance of admin files.
