Job Purpose
The Investment Wealth Manager contributes to tactical and operational planning while supporting the delivery of approved operational plans. The role is accountable for people, processes, applied technology, and budget management, with a strong focus on supporting wealth advisory services and driving portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solutioning & Advisory Support
Provide ongoing support to Senior Advisors in achieving business development and portfolio growth targets.
Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing client portfolios.
Monitor portfolio performance to unlock value for both clients and the business.
2. Client Engagement
Engage with clients regularly to understand:
Current investment and wealth product needs
Future financial and wealth requirements
Ensure client expectations are met and long-term value is created.
Strengthen client relationships through proactive engagement and service excellence.
3. Risk and Control
Ensure full compliance with risk, governance, and control requirements.
Implement and maintain operational controls aligned with Absa policies and regulatory standards.
Protect the integrity of client portfolios and the business.
4. Operational Accountability
Contribute to operational execution of tactical plans.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in:
Business
Commerce
Management Studies
