Job Purpose
To optimise the profit and economic value of a portfolio of Small Business key account clients with low to medium complexity commercial banking needs by:

Acquiring new business clients

Cross-selling financial products to existing clients
-
Providing proactive client coverage and service in line with the Small Business segment Customer Value Proposition (CVP)
Key Responsibilities
1. Relationship Management
-
Own and manage the primary relationship with Small Business clients
-
Act as the single point of contact for all Corporate and Investment Banking needs
-
Build long-term, trusted relationships that drive client retention and growth
2. Client Solutioning
-
Take full accountability for service delivery
-
Coordinate and lead a cross-functional team, including:
-
Transactional Banker
-
Credit Analyst
-
Segment Support Client Control Team
-
Client Service Consultant
-
Product & Sector Teams
-
-
Set clear rules of engagement to ensure efficient and effective client solutions
3. Risk Management
-
Take ownership of portfolio risk management
-
Ensure understanding and compliance with:
-
Bank regulatory requirements
-
Client regulatory and compliance environments
-
-
Balance risk with growth to deliver sustainable credit and banking solutions
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in:
-
Business
-
Commerce
-
Management Studies
-
(FAIS-regulated role – relevant FAIS requirements will apply)
