Purpose of the Role
To perform high-quality installations of sophisticated electronic tracking and telematics equipment in vehicles, ensuring excellent customer service, accuracy, and compliance with Tracker’s technical standards.
Key Responsibilities

Install advanced electronic tracking units in cars, trucks, and heavy machinery.

Ensure installations meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Complete installations at customer-convenient locations.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients during the installation process.

Complete and submit all installation-related documentation accurately.

Maintain excellent service delivery in line with company policies.
-
Manage stock requests and usage efficiently to avoid delays.
-
Perform duties in a cost-effective and organized manner.
Minimum Requirements
-
Matric (Grade 12)
-
National Technical Certificate in Automotive Electronics or Motor Mechanics
-
Grade E PSIRA registration (security compliance)
-
At least 4 years’ experience as an Auto Electrician or Motor Mechanic

Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills

Good communication and administrative abilities

Customer service–oriented and able to work independently

Computer literacy (MS Office an advantage)

Valid driver’s licence

Willingness to travel as required
