Tender Objective
The college seeks to appoint qualified suppliers to provide books on an as-and-when basis, starting April 2026. The goal is to ensure timely and reliable delivery of learning materials to support academic activities.
Scope of Work
The scope includes:

Supply and delivery of books as needed
-
Delivery to the college as per requirements
-
Participation in either:
Category A
-
Fixed-term services with annual revisions
-
Contract renewable at the college’s discretion
Category B

Panel of up to 10 suppliers

Rotational, as-and-when supply until December 2028
Technical Requirements
Service providers must:
-
Submit valid SARS Tax Clearance PIN
-
Provide a full CSD report
-
Submit a municipal rates and taxes account or lease/rental agreement
-
Not be listed on the National Treasury quotation defaulters register
-
Complete required application forms and company profile
-
Register on the College supplier database (limited to 2 commodities per provider)

Adhere to the College’s SCM policy and National Treasury Regulations

Ensure confidentiality of submissions in line with POPIA
Important Submission Notes

Tender documents are available from 19 January 2026 to 12 February 2026

No late, faxed, or emailed tenders will be accepted

Submissions must be sealed and endorsed with the tender number and company name
-
No pre-payments or deposits; payment is made after delivery/services

The College may appoint multiple suppliers or create a panel
Skills and Requirements
Suppliers should have:

Experience in supplying books and LTSM
-
Proven capacity and reliability
-
Ability to meet delivery deadlines

Proper company documentation and compliance
-
Ability to provide high-quality books and materials as required
