    Overview:

    Clover is looking for dynamic and results-driven Sales Representatives to expand its presence in the Food Service Industry (FSI). The ideal candidate will focus on customer recruitment, new business development, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients to grow the active customer base. This role requires strong communication, customer service, and sales execution skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Recruitment & Onboarding

    • Visit all scheduled appointments for new customer recruits.

    • Source new business opportunities and grow the active buying base.

    • Manage and coordinate the account application process through to completion.

    • Onboard a minimum of 125 new customers per month within the FSI channel.

    • Introduce Clover products and services to new customers and ensure needs are met.

    Customer Service & Relationship Management

    • Maintain high-quality, ongoing customer service standards.

    • Attend to customer queries proactively and notify customers once accounts are activated.

    • Work closely with Sales Representatives and the Regional Sales Manager regarding newly onboarded clients.

    • Oversee customer handover processes to Sales Reps and Area Managers.

    • Record and report reasons for non-recruited customer applications.

    Sales Processes & Business Development

    • Support customers through the entire sales process.

    • Ensure continuous product availability.

    • Maintain accurate records of sales per outlet and product category.

    • Implement negotiated pricing structures.

    • Drive new business development and grow existing accounts.

     Key Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 / NQF4

    • Relevant degree (advantageous)

    Experience

    • Proven sales experience

    • Experience applying sales concepts, techniques, and processes

    • FSI or FMCG experience is advantageous

    Skills

    • Fluent in Business English

    • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

    • Ability to source and close new business

    • Strong organisational and reporting skills

    • Good sales process knowledge

    • Ability to meet demanding recruitment targets (125+ customers monthly)

    Other Requirements

    • Code 10 driver’s license

    • High motivation and self-discipline

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
