     Job Overview

    The Sales Executive – Liquor Trade is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence within the liquor trade segment. Operating within the Kazang Merchant Division, the role focuses on new business development, product visibility, device installations, and achieving sales performance targets.

    The successful candidate will operate with high levels of autonomy and accountability, treating the territory as their own business while ensuring exceptional customer service and sustained growth.

     Job Description

    Sales & Business Development

    • Achieve and exceed monthly and weekly sales targets.

    • Identify and establish new business opportunities within the liquor trade sector.

    • Engage with informal vendors to expand merchant acquisition.

    • Drive product availability and visibility in assigned areas.

    • Review sales performance weekly and implement corrective strategies where needed.

    • Maximise average revenue per unit through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

    Product & Device Management

    • Install devices at new merchant sites.

    • Provide basic product training and support to merchants.

    • Ensure operational readiness and proper usage of installed devices.

    Market Expansion & Relationship Management

    • Build strong relationships with clients and maintain high customer service standards.

    • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.

    • Support and encourage sales representatives to identify cross-selling opportunities.

     Minimum Requirements

    Experience

    • 1–2 years’ experience in client-facing sales.

    • Experience within FMCG, informal trade, or merchant services is advantageous.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Proficient in English and at least one additional African language.

    • Valid driver’s license (essential).

    • Computer literacy in Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
